RacketMatch respects your privacy and only collects and uses personal information where necessary to operate our padel racket demo service.
Information we collect
When you enquire about or make a booking, we may collect your:
- name;
- telephone number;
- email address, where provided;
- booking and hire information;
- communications with RacketMatch; and
- payment-related information.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. RacketMatch does not need to store your full card details.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- respond to enquiries;
- arrange and manage racket bookings;
- communicate regarding collection, delivery and returns;
- process and keep records of payments;
- deal with damage, loss, refunds or other booking issues;
- maintain appropriate business and accounting records; and
- operate and improve the RacketMatch service.
Our principal lawful basis for processing information required to manage your booking is that it is necessary to perform our contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into that contract.
Where appropriate, we may also process information where necessary for our legitimate business interests or to comply with a legal obligation.
Marketing
We will not add you to general marketing communications simply because you have made an enquiry or booking.
If we introduce optional marketing communications in future, we will provide an appropriate way to opt in or out where required.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate RacketMatch, including payment processing, communications and business administration providers.
Those providers process information according to their own applicable privacy arrangements and/or our instructions.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including managing bookings, resolving disputes and meeting legal, tax and accounting requirements.
Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access to or correction of your information and, in some circumstances, deletion, restriction or objection to its use.
